The Windsor International Diaspora African Festival (WIDAFest) celebrates arts, culture, tourism, and global connection through exciting and engaging activities such as our Street Parade, Cultural Marketplace, Business Seminar, Golf Tournament, and so much more!

We envision WIDAFest as the “core” of countless Afrocentric cultural events to come to the Canadian city of Windsor, Ontario. This year’s event will illuminate the rich diversity in the African Diaspora and the historical and contemporary significance of Windsor’s Black and African community. In addition, our festival provides an avenue for discovering talents and the arts while exploring ancestral heritage and multiculturalism with the general public. 

The global exposure and platform of our event will amplify and uplift artists, performers, entrepreneurs, celebrities and community leaders through various immersive and elaborate activities while honouring the environment by providing a “Green Zone” Zero-Waste event to the public, implementing and showcasing large-scale sustainable practices to participants and attendees from around the world. 

WIDAFest 2023 will provide Sponsors and Advertisers with positive brand associations, including program narratives that support the shift toward social integrity in personal and business practices. Preceding and during WIDAFest 2023, Sponsors and Advertisers can expect various promotional and outreach activities from which their brand or business may participate and benefit, including print, digital and broadcast media locally and internationally to make an impact on people and the planet at large.
