Windsor, ON – May 15th, 2023 This year, Zalent Creatives (a local non-profit) presents its inaugural summer cultural arts festival, showcasing and celebrating the music, fashion, food and more from across Africa and the Caribbean. This year’s showcase, WIDAFest 2023, runs over eight (8) days from July 23rd – 30th, 2023 and will feature a Cultural Marketplace, music concerts, an exciting African Drum Festival and an expert-led Business Seminar focusing on Tourism, Agriculture and Global Trade!
WIDAFest 2023 is paving the way for greater representation of the African community locally and nationally while educating and engaging the thousands of participants from around the world in collaborative multicultural and multifaith performances, activities and conversations.
This year’s event culminates in the 8th annual Vigor Unsung Heroes International Awards Gala, where selfless humanitarian and philanthropist works will be celebrated and honoured.
